Just in time for the holidays, McDonalds is offering a line of Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge toys that is available with every happy meal purchase. The company with the golden arches offered a line of Bakugan toys last year, consisting of eight in all. However, this year McDonalds has really outdone themselves, and while they are offering eight different Bakugan types, each Bakugan comes in two different colors, equaling the number of Bakugan toys available for Winter 2011 is 16!

The line of happy meal toys comes at a great time, as the second installment of the fourth season of the popular television show Bakugan Battle Brawlers. This fourth season is known as Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge, and the second half of this incredible season hopes to tie up some lose ends from past moments of the television show, most notably humans and the Bakugan from New Vestroia living peacefully among one another.

What better way to commemorate the upcoming kinship between human and the restless Bakugan from New Vestroia by collecting a few awesome Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge toys for yourself, or a loved one. Want to know which one you may want to get? Check them out for yourself below!

Happy Meal Toy #1: Titanium Dragonoid

As those of you who are Bakugan veterans will know, Titanium Dragonoid is a very powerful yet agile warrior. As a result, you would hope that McDonalds would provide an awesome toy in honor of Titanium Dragonoid, right? Well did they ever! When you push the button on the bottom of Titanium Dragonoid’s round sphere, it shoots open to become the dragon that many fear! This toy comes in two colors: Red Pyrus and Blue Aquos, but let’s be honest, when it’s Titanium Dragonoid, no matter which color you choose, how can you go wrong?

Happy Meal Toy #2: Dreadeon

The Bakugan that would rather fight in the air than by land or by sea, Dreadeon has wings that are as sharp as daggers, and is one of the most feared Bakugan’s in existence. Press Dreadon’s button on its back, and its wings shoot out, ready to fly and do battle in the sky above. This is available in two colors: the awesome black and white, as well as the cool light blue and dark blue.

Happy Meal Toy #3: Taylean

I’m a fan on ninjas, and so Taylean is a Bakugan after my own heart. This agile, sneaky, and ultimately dangerous Bakugan may look innocent enough when it is in its little, cute ball, but press the button on the bottom of its ball, and it transforms into a hawk-like creature that is ready to battle at a moment’s notice. This toy comes in two varieties: a green one with a blue cross on its shield, as well as a more ninja-looking toy that is black with a red cross along the front of its shield.

Happy Meal Toy #4: Silent Strike

The mighty Silent Strike is a Bakugan feared by many, and for good reason: he looks downright devastating. Silent Strike sports a samurai-type of helmet, with shoulder armor that pops out when he is ready to go into battle. This toy comes in to different flavors: Ventus Green and Black Darkus.

Happy Meal Toy #5: Bolcanon

Balcanon may not look like much; after all, he is basically a small lobster, and when comparing him to beasts such as Silent Strike or Titanium Dragonoid, he doesn’t seem like he is a very smart pick. However, what Balcanon makes up for in size, he certainly makes up for in speed. Allow him to get behind another Bakugan using his quick speed, and the next thing you know, he has sprayed magma breath all over him and devastated his opponent. Pressing the button on the bottom of the sphere will bring Bolcanon out of his shell, ready to battle at a moment’ notice. This toy comes in Red Pyrus as well as Green Ventus.

Happy Meal Toy #6: Braxion

Braxion is very protected, and has heavy armor along with extended weaponry to boot! Braxion comes in two different colors: Burgundy and Red, and Dark Green and Light Green.

Happy Meal Toy #7: Razenhoid

This Bakugan looks like a dangerous spider, meaning you had better have your wits about you when facing him! His ball opens when the bottom button is pressed. Additionally, he releases in two colors: Darkus and Blue Aquos.

Happy Meal Toy #8: Zenthon

Many fear this Bakugan, and there’s a good reason why: it’s because he can fly at alarming speeds, while shooting hot fire at his enemies from below. Behaving a lot like a dragon, this is one of the most powerful Bakugan in this line of toys. The back button on this toy results in Zenthon’s wings going up and down. He comes in two colors: Red Pyru and Blue Aquous.
